However, I see the desire in our team that we need to win. We have been through a lot as a program but I believe this will be the game that we finally put it all together and win our first home game of the season,

 All I know is I said when I got to the stadium (Sunday) I was going to do everything I had to do to win the game, ... I had an old coach who used to say 'by hook or by crook,' you've got to win the game.  We struggled as a team. They played their game and I feel like we could have been more mentally focused tonight. I know it starts with me -- point guard, leadership. I wouldn't take anything away from the defense (Delaware State) played, but I think more than anything we could have come out and been more mentally strong.

 The irony of the game is that they controlled the tempo with a slower pace, and that dictated how the game was played. It's unfortunate that we were unprepared to play both mentally and physically.

 This team is like a gas tank and we used all of our fuel on Thursday's game. I think we were all emotionally, mentally and physically tired.
