It's winner takes all proverb

It's winner takes all now. There are 24 points to fight for. We found ourselves in this position last year and put a terrific run together to get out of the bottom four and now it's time to do it again.

Of course! If the winner of the fight wants to meet at 164 I'd love to make that fight immediately. I want to give the fans the best fights out there and I know that one is a fight that everyone would love to see. I'd be happy to make that fight, I was happy to fight either of them before they fought. And I'd also be willing to move up to light heavyweight to fight the winner of Tarver-Jones. That fight would be HUGE in Florida.

Joey was doing everything right. He just couldn't get points in the bottom position, and his opponent held that riding-time advantage.

You can't be a winner every time. This hill isn't suited to me because it's so flat, and I had trouble with the light. So my main goal after I was sixth in the first run was to defend that position and I'm pretty satisfied that I did that. I wanted to make sure to catch 30 or 40 points.

The real winner so far has been the Socialist Party. They have found a cause to fight for and rally around.

You couldn't ask for a more entertaining hockey game. The good thing is we got the two points (and) found a way to get the winner, but you learn from that experience.

The scars left from the child's defeat in the fight against irrational authority are to be found at the bottom of every neurosis
  Erich Fromm

Knoxville brought a tough team to town last night and we wrestled the best we could under the circumstances. There were some very high points for us and we made some big strides in a few weight classes. A few of our boys still need to learn better position and mat sense, but that comes with time. Time is running short for this year, but I believe we are seeing things at this stage of the season that were not here last year.

When I finally hit the bench, I had to fight back tears. It's frustrating. That's the bottom line. To go out there every night and lose, that's not what we want to do. Whether we're doing what it takes to do, I guess not.

We're adding a three-time Stanley Cup champion, a Hart winner, who still has a tremendous skill level and is excited to play. He'll be a terrific addition.

I believed that Bryan (Clay, the US 2005 World Championship decathlon winner) would be the winner in Moscow but that I would at least fight for one of the remaining two medals.

This time last year we were a lot of points adrift and now we are only behind on goal difference. So it is a nice position to be in. We would have preferred to be top but finishing let us down.

If the fans aren't enjoying this points race this year they're not paying attention. This is like a toe-to-toe heavyweight fight. Kurt has the best car right now. I can't seem to put any space between us. He's been storming up behind us in the points. I had to win just to hold him off.

It's the way I went out in my last fight. I know he was a bigger guy, but I just have to go out a winner. And prove to prove to myself I have what it takes to come out of this game as a champion. That's what I have to prove to myself.

We had this urge to come out here and take it to L.A. The hacker Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. . There were personal things and we needed points. Being at the bottom, when you're clawing to climb above people, you'll do anything it takes and we wanted to get out of last place.
