 I like the product that I see. I think that this is something that can really take off in Pittsburgh. I have always wanted a pro team to come to this city. I'm a big fan.

 I am excited to be part of the Forest City/Harrah's team. I've lived and played in this community for years and I believe these two companies bring the expertise and strengths that Pittsburgh needs to make gaming successful.  This deal means that we get in the city of Pittsburgh a brand new arena, a $280 million facility that does not cost the taxpayer a single cent. This is the only plan that presents a tax-free, brand new structure for the city of Pittsburgh.

 There's excitement that builds up when you have an opportunity to bring another championship back to the city of Pittsburgh. Everybody joins in. I'm a big Crosby fan. I have his jersey. You just hop on. You want to be part of the excitement. We'll be right there with our jerseys on supporting those guys as well. That's just how the city of Pittsburgh is. We're all one big family.

 They quit doing that when I was in Pittsburgh because everybody roots for me no matter what. You know how Pittsburgh fans are with the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. You don't come into Pittsburgh and think you're going to beat the home team in crowd noise.

 Kansas City wanted me back. I also visited Green Bay and Pittsburgh. But I just felt the opportunity and the fit was better here.

 It's a massive undertaking that's going to change the landscape of Pittsburgh. We want to make sure we're really making recommendations that are in the best interests for the city of Pittsburgh. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness.

 Those teams in the '70s put the city of Pittsburgh on the map. That was a phenomenal run. They created the tradition and the legacy of Pittsburgh. We're proud of that. But it's good to be able to say we did it, too, in 2005, and we did our thing our way.

 Everything we've done has been toward keeping the team in Pittsburgh. That's been a number one priority. If we had wanted to move the team, the easy thing to do would have been to play out the lease and then start shopping the team around.

 He likes our facility. He wanted to do this for the fire departments. We figured let's try this out -- it could certainly benefit us. They're the No. 1 radio show in the city of Pittsburgh, and they have a strong following. We were one of four that were selected.

 This says so much about the City of Pittsburgh and their support of their sports teams. You have a group of people who absolutely love this team.

 I wanted to up-tempo the game. Everyone says (Bloomfield) is from the city and don't run with a city team. But we're a running, pressing team and I wasn't going to take that away ... our press was really good tonight and it was really causing problems.

 This city is very fortunate to have an owner who's committed to bringing winning baseball to Pittsburgh. This city should embrace that and get behind this young team and give them a chance to grow and to get better...I'm going to miss tremendously putting on a Pirate uniform, one I wore very proudly for 15 years. I feel I have roots in this community and I'm proud to be part of this community.
