David Duchovny and I proverb

 David Duchovny and I and creator Chris Carter are determined to do another. Hopefully, by the time we actually do it, whenever that is, people will still give a damn.

 David (Duchovny) and I and (creator/producer) Chris Carter have been excited about and determined to do the next 'X Files' movie. I think it would be a huge amount of fun to get together in kind of a reunion situation and just make a really good, really scary film.

I don't know where the holdup is. But I hope it happens. I remain optimistic it will happen. If you'd asked me a year ago, I never would have believed it still wouldn't be in the works at this point.

 His point [however] was that David [Duchovny] and Gillian [Anderson] are getting older, so how far back in time can you go? And now quite a number of years have gone by. So whether the cigarette-smoking man can make a believable appearance other than a ghost, I don't know ... [but] I'd love to do it.  I guess we're just in an indefinite holding pattern, ... It's about Chris Carter and Fox coming to terms. Gillian and I are signed on. We're ready to go. Chris and Fox are slugging it out.

 He shows so much heart and is so determined. He will never give in. Chris has just been a lot of fun to coach. He's a really tough kid and a real hard-working kid. He really believes in himself, and it would have been easy for him to give up.

 Nevada was never Carter country back in the 1970s, and I just don't think Jack Carter has much of a chance, although you never completely dismiss anyone. Absent any fiasco by Ensign, Carter is going to have a tough time.

 Chris Carter is just a fantastic guy, I have enjoyed working for him, immensely. I loved this character. I don't think I can say enough about Chris. It's just a fantastic thing that he's created and I'm so thrilled that I've been a part of it. I'm very grateful.

 I think that will be the scouting report on us as we head into league play. Wofford was able to get into and under Chris tonight with their quick guards. At the same time, I think Russell Carter did a great job stepping up.

 Chris has good hands and did very well setting during practice, so we decided to give him a chance. It will take time for Chris to get adjusted to his new role, but I'm sure he'll do a fine job.

 This guy's an American citizen who worked like a dog. He couldn't give a damn about terror. He couldn't give a damn about what happens overseas. But he's got a Muslim last name, and that's the only reason why we're here.

 [O'Neill knew going in that his success will depend on Carter, so he flew to Daytona Beach this summer and had dinner with Vince and his mom. He came away convinced that the talk about Carter being soft is just that: talk.] The thing people need to realize is that Vince had two serious injuries last year, ... Frankly, Vince Carter is the least of my worries.

 I told him we can get David Copperfield if we want a magic act. He needs to make sure the damn ball gets back there every time like it's supposed to. We're not keeping him just for his ability to do tricks and entertain the guys.
