Just having the guidance proverb

 Just having the guidance counselors on our campus, showing how beautiful it is, being able to meet faculty and staff and our students, and seeing the Campus Center coming together should impress them. I feel like our school's going to sell itself.

 Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness.

 We wanted a place that was on campus, even though this is a community church, we wanted to be right in the heart of campus because it's easy for the college (students) to get here, ... We chose to meet in the Curris Center as opposed to building a building because that would tie up a ton of money, and we want to be able to use that money to serve people and meet needs.

 It has brought us all together as a campus. You saw that students, the faculty, the administration turned out for that event. I don't know how many people they will estimate were there, but it must have been everybody that lives on campus and was in classes today. It's just a thrill.

 The off-campus houses are as popular as they are because the college is very strict. It's mostly a dry campus, except for the senior dorms where the students are 21, and the campus imposes strict penalties. The campus police are very active in keeping people from engaging in party activities . . . so the students have to look elsewhere for parties.

 It has grown from a small commuter school of about 2,000 to 3,000 to now a beautiful school, gorgeous campus, great facilities, fantastic faculty. . . . We're located in Fairfax, in the beautiful rolling hills of Northern Virginia, two miles from Washington, D.C., the capital of our nation.

 I think more students are seeing the benefits of living on campus. Here, (Troy) you have the one-stop-shop concept, which allows students to meet most of their needs on campus.

 This group should allow students to take control and ownership of their campus and their lives, and then the faculty and staff will not have to be the enforcers of behavior. Also, students will not have to put up with the annoying after effects of people who have been drinking over the limit.

 For me it will always be the heart of the campus. Its very location in the center of campus and the departments located in it make Gilman a magnet for hundreds of students.

 Expanding the student center will create an area on that campus for student life to take place. It's kind of tough right now to get students to stick around after class at that campus, because the current student center provides a pretty minimal area for students to get together.

 Orientation is very important because students who don't have a lot of experience on campus need the opportunity to come to campus and to learn where things are and the resources that they have on campus and the things we have for them to be involved and become a true part of campus if they are able to do so.

 The longest hours of operation are [on the South 40] [but] a lot of focus goes into lunchtime [on the Hilltop campus] because that's when [we are] feeding faculty and staff and the students.

 This campus is so far removed from the rest of campus. Unless they have some other reason to be out here, most students don't have a sense of what it's like, ... It's an incredible part of N.C. State's campus.

 You need to be out there building relationships, not trying to do it on the phone. Get them on campus and have those support services. If a student doesn't feel supported, they are going to leave. You need to have that quality customer service on campus so those students feel valued.

 [Rosemary Clarke Middle School will add eight classrooms to its campus, housed in four modulars.] This will be the last campus where installation of the modulars will be completed, ... Right now, RCMS is able to accommodate the students they have but we expect the school will be at capacity within 12 months.

 I've been a leader on this campus for three years now and I've led the second largest organization this campus has. I feel it's more important to get everyone to realize the benefits of Associated Students.
