The ability for people to get into a house along the Wasatch Front for less than $200,000 is dramatically going away. People trying to get into starter homes are really going to continue to be challenged. |
The idea is these homes will appreciate in value because of their quality and the amenities of the neighborhood. |
The Legislature has been very supportive and very generous. The philosophical question we're facing is will the university system remain a state funded system. |
tough enough to take it. |
We didn't know if this was something people would wrap their arms around. It's so different _ the tiny lots and alley-loaded garages. It was a risk, but at the end of the day we felt they knew what they were doing. |
We don't have any details on what caused it, |
We now have a complete CRM suite, |
We put CRM right on the desktop, along with Office. Most corporate users are comfortable with Office productivity tools, and so CRM becomes a natural extension of what they're already doing. It's not a major leap with a new application. |
We received the legal opinion and advice of the general counsel of the university, whom we respect and rely on for that advice all the time. |
We think the timing is tremendously important, and the market is ripe for Microsoft right now. CRM has been through a period where it's been difficult to find results. Companies are frustrated in trying to realize ROI and TCO from complicated applications. |
We're actually going to be releasing our marketing automation module earlier than expected. |
We're just waiting for a final decision from the judge. |
We're pleased with Judge Owens' ruling. |
What we're seeing is a great deal of customization on country and industry levels. When Microsoft was developing its CRM, it made sure that it was built on a Web services architecture so that it can be easily adapted to specific local needs and requirements. We don't ship an out-of-the-box, property-management application, for instance, but those in real estate using the software can easily add apartment information without adding programming code. |
You can always make the system more complicated later. The problem won't be that the system can't handle it. What might happen is that people won't have a clear understanding of what they want to do. Wait 30 days or so and get some feedback so you can evolve over time. |
