We've had a rough couple of weeks. We grew as a team tonight. We decided we were going to do something about adverse situations instead of sitting back and letting things happen.

The girls didn't back off and we attacked to the best of our abilities. Our offense scored 33 points compared to 19 the last time we played them. Give them credit - they're a bunch of horses.

It was a great team win. It was our best overall performance of the year. The defensive effort was outstanding (and) we moved the ball better against their zone than we have all year.

We did a great job taking care of the ball.

We gave up only two offensive rebounds. Celeste and Erin had a very productive night on the boards.

Carroll was really focused and we weren't. They were upset at Winterset on Friday and they were ready to take it out on someone. We had a packed house and I was disappointed that we didn't give a focused, four-quarter effort.

We showed a lot of character in the third and fourth quarters coming back. We weren't ourselves at the beginning of the game, but as the game wore on we attacked better and played smarter.

We came racing out of the gate.

It was our best game of the year. We played very solid on both sides of the ball for four quarters.

Haley had a huge night. She and Nicole had a great game defensively.

She hurt us. When we played her tough on the perimeter she beat us on a back door and when we sagged down on defense she drained some 3s.

We played much better basketball this year. With the style we played, we were just so much more competitive.

We were certainly celebrating a big win over a good Iowa Falls team and our biggest highlight was probably our win over Jefferson-Scranton where we played fantastic ball on both ends of the floor. For the girls Perry was probably their favorite win because we have a little bit of a rivalry there.

Our offensive average went up after losing our career leading scorer, and our steals went up by 64 this year. We accomplished a lot out of the change in style.

She did that because of the work she put in during the off-season. She worked hard to get to this point.
