Them reporters were just telling the truth. When we were boys, Hank could put away almost a whole bottle by himself and then get up and sing a song. He loved his liquor, that's for sure. He had a mouth on him, too. I guess that's why my mother thought he was White trash. Decent people didn't talk like that. |
