It's nothing that seems serious at this time, ... We don't have to file anything officially with the league yet, so I'd say they're questionable, at the very best. |
It's possible that I'll need to stay behind and keep interviewing candidates. I know from experience that it's a zoo down there, so it would be easier for us to meet here. |
It's probably a little different. You are getting to play the best. |
It's really tough. We're going to miss him a lot because he was going to be a big factor on special teams. |
It's repetitions. That's what's so critical for him. We're not installing a lot. Now we might on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday before our preseason game, we might add a couple of things just for that game. Really, what we're doing is we're working on concepts we've already installed. |
It's too early to know anything about injuries. |
It's tough. I'm not going to lie to you. It's very, very tough. Just like every team in this league, we all work hard. We put a lot into it and we've become obsessed with it for months on end. When it ends in a way -- especially when you have high expectations like we did, we do and we always will have -- it's difficult. But that's life, and you have to learn to get over it. |
It's unfortunate that he got hurt making a good play like he did, especially. The guy just was everything we thought he'd be when we drafted him. |
It's very important, especially at the linebacker position, ... It's critical not only amongst themselves, but with the guys in front of them and the secondary behind them. |
Joe brings a great deal of energy, excitement and enthusiasm to his new role as defensive assistant. He's been a coach on both sides of the ball and has extensive experience at the collegiate level working with the defensive line. We are excited that he has agreed to become a member of our team. |

John Marshall always said, 'Hey, we're going to win with our football and not gimmicks,' |
Like most running backs, they start by running high, and then when they get more comfortable they start running low. He's running with his pads low. He's seeing things well. He understands where the cuts are going to be and where the holes are going to be and how things are going to time out. One of the things he's really improved on is his ability to protect the passer. That was a weakness of T.J.'s last year. He's worked hard at it and it's something that he is good at. I know that he'll always be a good runner. He pounds people and he's fun to watch. He's the closer. |
Maybe it's just a juice or an energy, ... All great performers have that. They lift the people around them up. |
Michael had a good game. I was holding my breath when Mike was running the ball. In fact, I just let my breath out now. |
