No, I didn't toss it. I threw stuff down like that. |
Nobody around here is used to giving up 170 yards rushing, ... That doesn't happen to us. It shouldn't happen. It won't happen. |

Not a lot went right for us today. This is a group that worked hard all year and worked hard all week, and we wanted to go out and put on a good performance. Unfortunately, we didn't. |
Not a lot went right for us, as everyone who stayed around to witness that game saw. |
Now, I don't know how soon he'll play, but it's nice to have a guy like that in the bullpen. |
One of my obligations to the players is to make sure I'm looking out for their health. |
Our fans were tremendous last season, |
Our fans were tremendous last season. They were so supportive and such a big part of our success at home. I think that will be the case again this year. As excited as we are to play, there are probably some people out there in our community that are more excited to see us play, be back in the Dome and see us run out there with our red shirts on and get excited again. |
People are going to say what they want and think what they want, |
Peyton had a great day, and that's when we started to see something special. There were still some down times, but frankly he got through it better than I thought he would. The first off-season is crucial. Quarterbacks get a lot of work in between the first and second year. That's when you really ought to start seeing something, by the second year. |
Peyton is a special guy, and we were fortunate to have some real good people around him on offense and defense, ... It's not anything like Alex Smith is facing in San Francisco. Playing quarterback in the NFL is the hardest job in professional sports. It is very, very difficult for a rookie to come in and do well initially - almost impossible, really. |

Quite frankly, early on in his career, if he had handled his relationships with the media better, it might have ended a little bit easier for him, |
Remember the first play of the game when he hit the guy on the sidelines kind of in the back? Then their sideline was chipping at him, and that guy that was blocked was going after him, and trying to go after him. (DeAngelo) let him get in his kitchen a little bit, and he needs to keep that door closed and just play his game. |
