And believe in what I have revealed, verifying that which is with you, and be not the first to deny it, neither take a mean price in exchange for My communications; and Me, Me alone should you fear. |
And between the two there shall be a veil, and on the most elevated places there shall be men who know all by their marks, and they shall call out to the dwellers of the garden: Peace be on you; they shall not have yet entered it, though they hope. |
And call not with Allah any other god; there is no god but He, every thing is perishable but He; His is the judgment, and to Him you shall be brought back. |
And cause them to enter the garden which He has made known to them. |
And certainly a lasting chastisement overtook them in the morning. |
And certainly Allah made good to you His promise when you slew them by His permission, until when you became weak-hearted and disputed about the affair and disobeyed after He had shown you that which you loved; of you were some who desired this world and of you were some who desired the hereafter; then He turned you away from them that He might try you; and He has certainly pardoned you, and Allah is Gracious to the believers. |
And certainly apostles before you were mocked at, but that which they mocked at encompassed the scoffers among them. |
And certainly apostles before you were rejected, but they were patient on being rejected and persecuted until Our help came to them; and there is none to change the words of Allah, and certainly there has come to you some information about the messengers. |
And certainly apostles before you were scoffed at, then there befell those of them who scoffed that at which they had scoffed. |
And certainly he led astray numerous people from among you. What! could you not then understand? / This is the hell with which you were threatened. |
And certainly he warned them of Our violent seizure, but they obstinately disputed the warning. |
And certainly Our messengers came to Ibrahim with good news. They said: Peace. Peace, said he, and he made no delay in bringing a roasted calf. |
And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: / Most surely they shall be the assisted ones / And most surely Our host alone shall be the victorious ones. |
And certainly she made for him, and he would have made for her, were it not that he had seen the manifest evidence of his Lord; thus (it was) that We might turn away from him evil and indecency, surely he was one of Our sincere servants. |
And certainly the reward of the hereafter is much better for those who believe and guard (against evil). |
