 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. |
| And We prescribed to them in it that life is for life, and eye for eye, and nose for nose, and ear for ear, and tooth for tooth, and (that there is) reprisal in wounds; but he who foregoes it, it shall be an expiation for him; and whoever did not judge by what Allah revealed, those are they that are the unjust. |

| And We send down water from the cloud according to a measure, then We cause it to settle in the earth, and most surely We are able to carry it away. |
| And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. |
| And We sent him to a hundred thousand, rather they exceeded. |
| And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. |
| And We strengthened his kingdom and We gave him wisdom and a clear judgment. |
