I am honored to be part of this event, which will not only pay tribute to the nurses who provide advanced, compassionate care for all of us in our community, but which will also raise funds so that they will have access to the very best and most advanced nursing station possible at Emerson's new Surgical Center. |

I am truly honored and speechless — which is a first! I'm absolutely delighted, and the fact that this is a public vote makes it extra special. It has been a very tough few years and the British public have been so supportive of me and the family, and seen that I am a real, old-fashioned British girl at heart. |

I believe that there is one only living and true God, existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, the same in substance, equal in power and glory. That the Scriptures of the old and new testaments are a revelation from God and a complete rule to direct us how we may glorify and enjoy Him. |
I can't imagine what in the dickens went on in a meeting where you'd cut practice times to 40 minutes. Now they're making you practice twice. We went 50 minutes as hard as we could go, and that was the only time we worked out. Now, we've got to go somewhere. Forty minutes? I can sneeze seven times in 40 minutes. |
I can't remember the last time that we didn't have an All-Conference player returning. We've also lost the middle of our lineup. But the good news is that our defense will be solid. We have some returning seniors to provide leadership and we have good freshman players who will push the regulars for playing time. |
I certainly knew of her talents. But to her credit, she's done such a great job of developing as a player over last four years that it was really hard to imagine that she would get to the level she has. She's done a great job of really giving her game balance. I think that's what makes her such a special player. |
I coach my coaches, and I feel very good about my staff. I think it's really easy to sit there and change coaches. To show people that, 'Hey, he's making a change and he's doing this and that.' But I won't do that. I'll do it if it's the right thing to do. I'll do it in a heartbeat if it's the right thing to do. |
I didn't know how mentally and emotionally we would be coming out on the road against a (Scio) team that had beaten us earlier by 21 on our floor. That was huge for us to come out and to show on the road that we could play with poise. ... I was really pleased with the guys. Every guy gave something on the floor. |
I didn't set out to be an icon, to save the lesbians of the world. But women were hungry. We were starving for someone who talked about what we were thinking and feeling. And somehow I stumbled into a clearing -- here are some things I found that maybe would be useful -- and I flew them out like model airplanes. |
I didn't want him to be slick in this movie. Instead of designer looks, we wanted all of his clothes to be a half size too small. I wanted him to have a mustache. This character is an equal-opportunity letch, and Pierce just went with it. I think he appreciated focusing on the character, not how his hair looked. |
I do think the commissioner feels like he wants to present a picture to the public that becomes a professional basketball player and a pro basketball league. But even before this, we were on our way. We've just got a lot of young players in this league who need to grow into that role, and most of them are there. |
I don't care if you're a guy named Tom and drink eight six-packs a day, you're still going to have an opinion of someone who walks into a room wearing a bad outfit. Anything that you can see a before and an after, if you can watch the process in between, that's something that's going to be of interest to anyone. |
I don't care what he calls himself as long as we continue to win and he does his job. His job is to first come in and make my job and the rest of these guys' job easy. The guy is unbelievable and the scary thing is the sky's the limit. He's just scratching the surface and he's just learning how to play the game. |
