 What's interesting is they're running the quarterback, running him effectively and running him often.  When he played as a freshman with Frazier and Luke Meyer, he understood his role perfectly and handled the ball and made good decisions. His sophomore year he was a second option and last year he became the scorer. This year ... he's got a D-1 physique right now. He's probably the most complete player we've seen so far. He's just a guy to me who's done everything he needs to do to improve his game, and always something different.

 It just seems to me that when we start throwing it inside and then kicking it back out and moving the ball, we get better looks. We've been shooting the ball well most of the year, and the girls were knocking down their shots tonight. I thought Laura (Severson) really gave us a lift early.

 You keep hearing everybody wants a more mobile quarterback, ... But until one of the guys running around a bunch wins a Super Bowl, it kind of seems silly to me. Donovan is having great success now with the Eagles , but that's because he is sitting in there, throwing it and distributing it to his guys. Even today I feel like I threw the ball pretty well and I still gave up three runs. I mean it's just a tough club to really go out there and control.

 Maybe they have a young quarterback that needs a guy like me to coach them through the tough parts. I'm still holding up well. I'm healthy and still throwing the ball well. If I had to play I feel like I could move the ball.

 It starts with me. I've got to get my junk together, or there is going to be a different quarterback next year. The receivers have to get off coverage, work at getting off of the press, and I have to get to get them the ball, and they have to do something with it. Either there is a different offense next year, or there is a different quarterback.

 If you think about the fumbles, one of them I was throwing the ball and the other time I wasn't looking and the ball got knocked out of my hands when I was in the pocket, ... I try to make an effort that every time I run the ball and every time I'm in the pocket I should protect it, but sometimes there is just nothing you can do about that. You see it all around the league, and it's just something that you have to be conscious of, but at the same time it's hard, to tell you the truth.

 Their quarterback last year was very mobile with a lot of bootleg and play action, and very difficult to keep in the pocket. This quarterback's mobility isn't the same, but [he has] experience. We're preparing for him as if he were a returning starter. I think he's capable of leading their team, within the scheme they use, at a very high level.
