I have a lot of friends who will warm up for an hour before they play. I feel that almost tires me. I just try to stay out of the cold too long and do a lot of humming and get up there and do it. I don't do a lot of warming up, but I do a lot of cooling down, like eating a slice of pizza. |
I really don't know [why we've been so good]. But we've played well. We've beaten a lot of good teams. |
I thought it was great idea. You can go to Uganda and spend two weeks over there and recognize the need right away. We were more than anxious to help out. |
It wouldn't cost more to get it built, but it would take more to keep it running. |
It's a big jump from five to two, it's tough. She's played pretty well. |
It's close... it's really good but it can be better. It can be better with a higher data rate. |
It's incumbent on us to be very cautious. |
Of course, as soon as I say that, we'll get hit. |
They've really played just as good as the team that I had the past two years. |
We all have different kinds of tastes and thoughts about what we are all about because the music is such a personal thing for us. ... I think we have always made an effort to make our lyrics build a bridge between the personal experiences we have and the personal experiences of someone coming to a show. That people say it has helped them in some way puts the highest meaning in the band. We feel we are out there making a living doing what we love, and it is affecting people. |
We always have a good time there and always make a point to come back. We wished we had the same kind of place when we were starting out. Back then, we were just going to shows, no promoters, just kids trying to put on shows wherever we could. That kids there in Huntington have something like HYAMP is great. It's a great thing to keep going. |
