A lot of them wouldn't budge. They didn't really trust what I was doing. A lot of my coaching energies were wasted. The studs, they knew what that had to do to succeed. |
Amazing. Just an amazing kid. The kid was loaded with talent, and worked his butt off. It (the fall) came in a scramble situation. He came out on top and caught the legs in a tight cradle. He was stuck, too. |
He's just a strong, hard-nosed kid. He could do certain things -- he's a beast with his Russian tie -- but he didn't know what he was working for, what he was trying to get. He was just going forward. A good wrestler knows where he's going with a move before the move. He's got to try to score. I had to put it in his head (that) you do this, then try to do this. |
If we have any problem en route or while we're down there, he'll be able to take care of it. There shouldn't be anything he won't be able to fix. |
Right now, we're being told we'll leave Saturday and report to Lafayette, but that could all change if we are needed elsewhere. |
We've been told what to expect and we're ready. |
