Gray bled Prattville when he was in office. He still does. You never wonder where you stand with him. If anybody said anything bad about Prattville or a city employee, he wasn't above just jumping all over you. That's kind of rare with a politician. I've always respected him for that. |
He doesn't have enough time to start the season. |
He fits in here very well. He should probably stay here. This is a good place for him. |
He hasn't changed a bit, ... To think we lived so close to each other all this time and didn't know it. |
He needs to find another hobby. |
He took a club predicted by some to finish third or fourth place and rode it to a World Series championship. That's a very commendable thing. I've been a little disappointed in some of the awards. ... But all along Ozzie and I decided the most important thing was a team effort, to be cohesive as a unit, and all individual things were secondary. |
He was very well liked and definitely a consummate journalist. |
He's an idiot. He's selfish. That's why we don't miss him. If you go out there and ask any one of my players or staff members, we don't miss him. |
He's confident, and a little cocky. He's quite a character, which is a perfect fit here. |
He's not going to shut me down. We're playing a small man's game. |
He's not that kind of guy. We have a certain kind of chemistry. |
He's selfish. That's why we don't miss him. |
Hell, no. For what? I heard what he said, and he doesn't care if I talk to him or not, and frankly I don't care if he talks to me. |
His first priority is calling a game. Everything that we have gotten at the plate from him is a bonus. I couldn't be happier to have him. He's a little goofy, but so are the rest of us. |
Honestly, we have greater capabilities. The players will tell you we have not been clicking on what we consider to be all cylinders all year, ... And I say that with as much humility as I can. |
