(Future Cities) is a very intense project. It involves teachers, parents and the community. |
All of the students, of all ages, participate in the plays. |
Before they enter into teachers' colleges they should screen them and have specific questions on why they want to be a teacher. |
I was very pleased with how hard the girls raced even though they are very tired at this point in the season from all the training. |
I would say Rosary is definitely top three in the state. We got our butts kicked. We did have some good swims and some not so good swims. |
I'm pretty confident we'll be a solid third at conference. Loyola and Rosary are two of the top five teams in state. It wouldn't be a bad thing to finish third behind those two teams at conference. |
It was downhill after that. |
It's good to finally swim against another team instead of each other. Those 6 a.m. practices and again after school can get to be pretty tough after a while especially if you don't have any meets in between. |
People get drunk and they'll drag each other into the stalls. |
We swam pretty well, considering it wasn't a big meet. I thought they stepped up and raced against each other. This meet was a good chance to see the new kids. I have 17 freshmen this year and I need to get a feel for what they can do. We know a meet against Rosary is going to be very tough. |
