I am bummed out in a way. But at the same time, I will be 10-times firmer than I was before when I get back. My shoulder was holding me back toward the end (of last season).
I didn't do so well today. The heat kind of got to me. There's just so much thrown at us at one time. I didn't have much time to study, so I didn't prepare myself mentally as well as I have in the past.
I plan on playing the season and then making my official visits. Right now, I am pretty open and I like Florida State, Auburn, Tennessee, Ohio State, Syracuse and Florida.
It's like another practice - just trying to get better out there like 11-on-11. I'm not going to change my game plan.
It's tough to be on the bench just basically riding. I just want to get out there and play and help the team win.
No one knows how you feel unless you say something, and no one wants to stay on the sidelines and just do nothing. Everyone wants to contribute to a win, and no one wants to [watch] a great season and feel like you didn't do anything to help.
The coaches, I don't think it is as open as they say it is. I'm just hoping that every practice and in every game that they give me a shot to show what I can do and not [just let me] sit on the sideline.
