 It was a scrap to get through it, but the finished product, we ended with a 'W. It wasn't particularly pretty.

 I was faced with no job, my marriage had just ended, I had two children I had to take care of, my schooling wasn't finished.  I wanted to go with an independent label so I could get what I wanted. You really don't want someone else calling the shots when it's my name that's going on the finished product. Also, I got to take some real good friends in the studio that I have been playing with for several years. They were all excited to be going in with me. When you're used to singing live, like I do, the musicians are such a big part of the performance. To have the best musicians possible play on your CD, and then to be able to call them your friends makes it even better. I know the finished product shows how comfortable I was with these guys.

 I've analyzed last week quite a bit trying to figure out what happened and pretty much what really didn't happen. I just came to the conclusion that I tried, but things just didn't add up. I was pretty happy with the way I hit the ball and pretty happy the way I was putting. I just wasn't happy with where I ended up.

 We ended up getting bottled up pretty good because we had an extra player who wasn't supposed to be there. It was a mistake.

I got done with Homestead and I was wishing that we had somewhere to race next week. This year, I really don't know until we get going. Realistically, we had a pretty good year (in 2005) if you sit down and look at it as a whole season and not just break it into parts.

 That's not too bad considering what happened to us today, ... We just did what we could and that was all we could do. It was a tough day, but we kind of came back from it and finished 13th. The car wasn't as good as it was in the spring, but it was pretty decent. We just couldn't quite get it done.

 I think it's very safe to say that Ryan is not a finished product defensively. I also feel that, when you look at a major-league baseball team that has 25 active members and half of that is your pitching staff, it's pretty imperative that that stuff back there behind the plate gets taken care of.

 I didn't say a thing about it. It was pretty straight forward. ... It wasn't a pleasant experience for our team. We had the game well in hand and if we had just maintained things, it would have finished that way. I think it's important you get some lessons along the way.

 We get products from all over the world. It is quite a process from the farm to the finished product. We always pray for two weeks of good weather for us to get the product to the retail florist and the florist to get it to their customers.

 I'm pretty good as long as my sword was handy, ... The punching was hard for me because I punch like a girl. I had to learn to look as if I'm physically really whacking the stunt man. But if a scrap broke out, I think you'd be pretty impressed by my skills.

 With our matches it's too close to call, it could really go either way. And I'm just happy that I can go out and scrap that hard with somebody as much as I can scrap with Brandon. It's great for both of us.
