 In our industry, more borrowing means we are making more money and growing, ... Our business is simple: We borrow money from banks at approximately 7 percent and loan that money out to our customers at a much higher rate. So our bank debt only goes up when consumer demand for our loans goes up.

 As a bank we have a fiduciary obligation to our customers and their money. The services necessary for an individual's investment plan might not all come out of the same department. We might refer them to our loan department for debt consolidation for example.

 If I don't generate money, I'm I trouble. These people have stepped up to try to keep us whole. I couldn't ask for anything else. I was seeing myself going to the bank borrowing lots of money. I don't see that happening now. It's bittersweet. We've got a place to land and a lot of support, which is positive. But you know, I don't know how the hell to explain it. It's not home. We've got to come back home to help with all the suffering there . . . . it's just hard to describe.

 Jon enjoyed the visit with the Jets. They did an incredibly good job with the visit. They got his attention. But his comfort level is in Philadelphia. Going into this I thought it would be between money and comfort level, in that order. Comfort level clearly proved to be more of a factor.
