They say the brain heals for up to two years. He's going through different stages of coming out of it. They tell us he could wake up one day and be normal, or not wake up at all. |
We just had a lot of fun, and we wanted to include him in that stuff. |
We're so thankful for the nurses, the caregivers, the doctors — they have shown so much kindness and respect. |
We're trying to make sure that the residents that are out there have the supplies and resources that they need, and that they are safe. |

Yesterday afternoon he was opening both eyes and blinking, not focusing on anyone, but we could see positive improvements. We see positive things happening, we won't know the extent of the head trauma until he wakes up, and that could be a week. We don't know. |
