Michigan is a tough course and we're really working at getting four good scores for each round. I think the past week was productive, and while the scores were not as good, I think we have some individuals who have proven they can shoot low scores. If we can do that, we will be competitive with everyone this weekend. |
Monday, we came out and played pretty decent. When Tuesday came around, we played in the rain for about an hour and a half. We did not do as well during that. We finished in seventh, which is respectable, but we know we are capable of doing better. |
One of the big things we wanted to do was get out there early and jump on them, especially knowing that they played last night. |
Unbelievable. We just got some tough calls. But we can't worry about that. |
We clamped down on him. We took him out of his game. |
We had a disappointing finish, and I think we expected a better result from this weekend. The team played well at times, but we also had to deal with a high score in the second round. |
We had a tremendous balance, especially the way James Jones came in off the bench and shot the lights out and the way Steve [Nash] shared the ball with everyone. |
We have been relying on team effort, not so much as one individual. Everyone stepped up at Ball State and they all played pretty even, as indicated by their scores. We need to improve our short game, though. That was what hurt us the most at Ball State, and we lost some shots around the green. Our course management will be the key to our success this weekend. |
We have lost a lot of business. Usually, this time of year we are a completely booked through December. |
We just hate to lose tonight on a tough call that could have gone either way. |
You can see them getting upset with Raja. You can really tell when he's getting under their skin. |
