The apostle believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers; they all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His apostles; We make no difference between any of His apostles; and they say: We hear and obey, our Lord! Thy forgiveness (do we crave), and to Thee is the eventual course. |
The believers are but brethren, therefore make peace between your brethren and be careful of (your duty to) Allah that mercy may be had on you. |
The believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Apostle then they doubt not and struggle hard with their wealth and their lives in the way of Allah; they are the truthful ones. |
The Beneficent God is firm in power. |
The Beneficent, the Merciful. |
The best of them said: Did I not say to you, Why do you not glorify (Allah)? / They said: Glory be to our Lord, surely we were unjust. |
The building which they have built will ever continue to be a source of disquiet in their hearts, except that their hearts get cut into pieces; and Allah is Knowing, Wise. |
The chiefs of his people said: Most surely we see you in clear error. |
The day on which the quaking one shall quake, / What must happen afterwards shall follow it. |
The day on which the spirit and the angels shall stand in ranks; they shall not speak except he whom the Beneficent God permits and who speaks the right thing. |
The day on which they shall be driven away to the fire of hell with violence. |
The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent God to receive honors / And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty / They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent God. |
The dwellers of the desert are very hard in unbelief and hypocrisy, and more disposed not to know the limits of what Allah has revealed to His Apostle; and Allah is Knowing, Wise. |
The dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in a better abiding-place and a better resting-place. |
The followers of the Book ask you to bring down to them a book from heaven; so indeed they demanded of Musa a greater thing than that, for they said: Show us Allah manifestly; so the lightning overtook them on account of their injustice. Then they took the calf (for a god), after clear signs had come to them, but We pardoned this; and We gave to Musa clear authority. |
