We have several reading programs going on at the same time so we limited this one to kindergarten, first and second grade. This is a special honor. When we were selected, the principals of the five schools in the program were invited to an FC Dallas game, and we got to go onto the soccer field and be introduced. |
We have so many different areas to choose from. Whether it's teaching the 5- to 9-year-olds how to make their first pizza or a men's only evening and teaching them how to make a meal for their spouse or a couples wine tasting and dancing competition. The age range is 5 to 95, and if it's feasible, we will do it. |
We have some people in town who are isolated and if there is a prolonged power outage or storm they might need help so we would like to be able to check on them whether it's a phone call or stopping by. Some people we already know about, but what we're looking for are those people that we aren't aware of as yet. |
We have two new tackles, big guys. That pocket is not going to compress as much. And moving Ryan put him at a more natural position. He's done a great job. A couple of snaps at the beginning of the spring were a little off, but he hasn't missed a call. Moving Matt to guard has made him a little more comfortable. |
We heard it every game last year. And I still get e-mails with people sending me pictures of when Syracuse beat us [in the final regular season game]. I find it kind of funny. That's entertainment for me. That's what football is all about. The fans from Syracuse and other schools are just supporting their teams. |
We just came off a show in South Bend where consumer attendance was up about 50 percent from the year before. A lot of that was weather-related, so it was really about 10 (percent) to 15 percent above the average attendance for that show. Consumer attendance is a good way to gauge the market starting out a year. |
We just didn't answer the bell. We didn't come out ready to handle their physical play. We knew that's what they were going to do because that's what Scott County always does. Our turnovers led to some easy baskets for them. We're disappointed in our effort, but we're going to put this one behind us and move on. |
We just tried to make every catch tough. We tried to fight him in the post, try to make them throw him a lob and try to squeeze him from the back side. He was struggling to get the ball and having to step out and take some poor shots. To me, that (Bryant yelling at his teammates) just let us know we did our job. |
We knew they were capable of shooting, it was just a matter of us getting out and contesting shots. They made shots we just didn't get out. Our defensive intensity wasn't the same as it was in the first half. We were very active in the first half, getting our hands on balls. We didn't do that in the second half. |
We know that most problems in hospitals are not due to one bad doctor or one bad nurse. Problems come from the systems in the organization. And by looking at the performance of the whole organization, we're able to look at those hospitals that have goals for true performance, leadership that stands behind it ... |
We look forward to the results from our expanded partnership with NEC. Japan is one of the world's leading markets for high-performance telecommunications and, through this partnership, we are enabling new levels of network capacity that will be the foundation of exciting, innovative communications applications. |
We made a decision back in December. We all wish we could make this decision today on your whole team because maybe some other positions would change also. Ryan has come back from his injury and has performed very well, but we're very comfortable with the three guys we've named and we're going to roll with them. |
We may well be negatively impacted; we're near the top now. That's a position we find ourselves in because of the marketplace that we found. Depending on how this goes on, we may not be nearly as flexible as we had hoped to be after this year. We may have committed a lot this year, more than we really should be. |
We must live out love by respecting the authority of the home office in Nashville. We must live out love when training and developing our staff. We must live out love with churches by asking questions and looking for ways to support them. And we must live out love with customers by showing people we really care. |
