It makes things a lot easier. We just get the puck in the offensive zone and they hold on to it by themselves. We just stand back and watch them every now and then. It's fun to watch. |
It's huge. It's really wild. I don't know, I can't really explain it. |
It's not us so much as the forwards. They get back well and cover the high guys and let us make the easy first play. Then they cover the pass. We don't have to worry about it too much. We just have to make one play and then they've got our backs. It works well. |
Really we can play either Tommy or Tyler and we know they'll stop all the shots we let by. |
We knew we could beat Northeastern, but it was Currituck we knew would be the toughest, and we were all trying to go to Golden Corral afterwards, because if we got first we would be able to go. It was more like beating Northeastern, but the motivation was Golden Corral. |
We've got a lot of chemistry and things just seem to work well. |
You might get a guy with his head down and it's his own fault that he gets knocked out cold. You want to go out and stick up for him, especially if it's done by a tough guy on their team and it's done against a skill guy on your team. You're going to want to go make a statement to that guy, but at the same time, you can't go forcing a fight on a clean hit when that's part of the game. |
