Someone saw my name on that (claim tag). They took a look inside and hit the jackpot. |
Sometimes you kind of tune it out because he's talking so much. |
That caught him good. He had a bad back before that, and now, a shoulder. And with the way things were going, I'm sure he was just mentally and physically tired. |
That was a good response. |
That was a nice goal. I don't know why he fell over. But he did a good job of putting it in. |
That was our best opportunity to get the win, but I don't think we let up after. We were still pushing and pressing to get the win and finish the game, but it just didn't happen. We have to make sure that we take advantage of opportunities like that. |
That would be unbelievable, but I'm not going to have any expectations going in. I'm not sure how the lines are going to shape up but, if I had the opportunity, it would be a dream. |
That's fine. That's the fun part about playing in the NHL: I grew up watching these guys and now I'm going to be playing against them, and that's special. But I can't change anything. You still have to shoot the same places, do the same things you did before. |
That's just the nature of the game. There was a lot made out of this game and I think things just escalated a little bit. |
That's part of my job, to create some chances for us. We did everything we could except win. |
That's probably the highlight of my career. I scored a couple goals, it was a fun game. We made some great plays, some fun plays. That sticks out in my mind. |
That's something he would say. No, he's playing well. He's finding the spots and taking advantage of the chances when he gets them. It's not a fluke that he's in the spots he's in. He knows where to go. He works hard. He's not a guy who's a perimeter guy. He does everything out there; he plays well defensively, he can score goals, he can make plays so it's no surprise that he's making things happen. |
That's the plan for now. |
The chances were there for us. But you fall behind like that and you don't give yourself a chance to win. |
The defensemen went down and got out of position. So then the goalie had no choice but to play the shot so I knew Mark had an open shot. I gave him a quick look and got him the puck. |
