We're very excited the residents of Cape Cod can experience the simplicity and convenience that comes with using their cell phone instead of a loyalty card and other traditional marketing vehicles. The launch of the Ring Bros. Mobile Rewards program is another example of how retailers nationwide are adopting our mobile platform and realizing the growing importance that cell phones play in our daily lives. |
What I'm trying to convince them is, you're not trying to beat the Yankees or the Red Sox or the Blue Jays, you're trying to beat the game of baseball through execution. When you play the game properly, it really should not matter what name is on the front or back of the shirt. And when you can reduce it to that mentally, I think you have a better chance of repeating the proper things over and over again. |
When I was reporting crime ... I never had the sense of clockwork conspiracies, or some kind of imposing order of evil. What I sensed was things just sort of falling apart. That's my sense of how crime works, that it's not any kind of calculated evil driven by the devil, but just control disintegrating. Things fall apart and happen out of stupidity and carelessness. Davenport does represent order in this. |

When you look at the two teams, (the Patriots) have been in more situations like this and they are more experienced than we are. They are a very veteran and smart team, and that's our goal, to get there. What I have to do is get our guys to believe they can be there. I believe we're going to be a better football team at the end of the year than we are right now because each game our young guys get better. |
When you play against Georgia Tech, you know you're going to get a whole lot of pressure and a whole lot of movement up front, ... And you've got to do a good job. It's hard to simulate that in practice. What you've got to do is hurt them. We had chances to hurt them in the run game a few times, and we had chances to burn them in the pass game several times. Many times we capitalized; sometimes we didn't. |
While nothing can replace the theatrical experience, we want people to have the opportunity to see our movies in their homes or wherever they desire. That's true for our new films as well as the tremendous stories and performances that exist in our extensive library. The Internet can make it easier for more people to see more of our films, and we're proud to be opening up this new avenue to entertainment. |
While the immediate 'rollback' of 24 percent offered by the union would materially improve league economics for the 2004-05 season, there is virtually nothing in the union's proposal that would prevent the dollars 'saved' from being redirected right back into the player compensation system, such that the league's overall financial losses would approach current levels in only a matter of a couple of years. |
Why should he be a guy who comes here and says, 'Well, I'm not going to be one of the guys and I won't be able to play?' ... What that would do to him is as far as mentality is take him off the floor, in terms of going out there and competing, day in and day out. I think that does him a disservice. Now, if it comes to the point where he can step out there and play, why wouldn't I put him out on the floor? |
Wireless LAN equipment in the SOHO market is still used primarily to share a broadband connection. We estimate over one-third of broadband subscribers had WLAN functionality at the end of 2005, up from approximately 25 percent at the end of 2004. Broadband services, including data, voice, and video, will increasingly rely on Wireless LANs to distribute content and services to multiple devices in the home. |
You could look at it from the perspective that the responses mean there's a problem that needs to be addressed, or it could also be indicative of how much more interest there is in the use of the browser, ... No feedback and then problems occurring later on is a bad situation. The best situation is the release candidate goes out and people respond and say, 'Wait a minute! What about this? What about that? |
You do not come back from those depths just by making some shifts here and there and cherry-picking a few issues you think are popular. It just isn't that easy. The notion that you can just snap your fingers after falling from the high 60s to the low 30s, that you can give a speech, propose some infrastructure spending and say some things that you think pull you back to the center is naive in the extreme. |
You hate to be negative. And you don't like to make excuses. But we have to play a lot more than we have the last couple of weeks. Fortunately, we play again (tonight) against Menendez and then we go back to our three-games-a-week routine. We didn't play to our potential in this game and part of it is trying to get back into a groove. But I think we'll be all right. We're glad to be playing a little more. |
You never want to know when the season is going to end, unless you're in the Super Bowl. You go through a period of depression for a while. You miss the guys. You miss the practices. You miss the meetings. We're in this game because we love it. So this is our Super Bowl, and this is our playoff game coming up. It's the last game of the year. We want to play and do as good as we can and take it from there. |
