I think stocks really are near their lows at this point and I think investors are bargain-oriented right now. They believe in some sort of comeback by the end of this year so if you believe in that, you have to like stocks at these prices. |
I think the NBA deal is kind of a question mark because it extends out very long, we don't really know where the NBA is going to be in four years. |
I think there was a lot of pressure on banking stocks because of what will happen with the Fed. My sense is that there is a little more optimism and there's more of a chance we could get some mid-term intervention from the Fed. |
There's a little bit more weakness in the Nasdaq and in the tech sector than we expected -- it may just be that the sheer number of buyers aren't there. But the retailers are up and there's a little positive action in the manufacturers, which could be a defensive play on the part of investors. |
