Fifty years ago, there were no fish below the sewage-treatment plant because there was no oxygen. Now, there are reproductive issues. I don't know which is worse in some ways. |

We kind of take water quality for granted now. But it was interesting to read that at the turn of the century, even with mining or mining-camp waste, Boulder residents took water right out of the stream. |
