There are a lot of things that went into it,

But I made one really silly mistake...it's hard to get too mad about that stuff.

The only thing that's really just gotten a lot less attention has been my tennis game. I've been a little more strapped for time. That was kinda a bummer.

When I landed off that jump, I hooked an edge. It was pretty abrupt. I lifted my ski up and when I did that it kicked the tail in, and it was gone. Obviously, the save was a good one -- it's hard to stay up when you lose a ski at that speed.

I think my form is good, my fitness is good, even if my knee is a little bit sore from yesterday.

I was fully, fully aware of being on the edge the whole time. I was definitely taking a risk. Those are the kind of runs that are fun for me.

That was not ideal. Those of you that know ski racing know it's not faster to be on your [butt], but it does add excitement!

I wanted to put down a run that I was really psyched about. With the fatigue, the snow conditions, and all the things kind of going against me, I think it felt as if maybe the challenge was more worthy. I like those kind of challenges. It was definitely worthy of a massive effort. It made it a lot easier for me to dig deep.

There's no logic to these rules. I don't even want to participate if it's going to be like this. It's certainly not worth me allowing them to abuse their power.

If they don't lift the fine I will quit the tour. It makes no sense. I want nothing to do with these people and the way they run the tour.

It's really typical. With drug testing, it's the same way.

The overall is going to be decided at the end of the season like it always is. Of course that won't stop everyone from talking about it.

It's pretty normal, especially when you haven't skied since the previous inspection - since I only skied for 10 seconds yesterday.

There's been no time for training. Hopefully I can take it easy this next week.

The most important thing is that I wanted to come straight out and apologize to mostly my family, friends. But also we have a lot of people who supported me along the way, through my team and even just family and friends who have supported me, who I think are subject to only what the media puts out in America.
