A 5-0 loss is definitely not a good experience, but it was an experience in the national tournament. You take what you can out of a loss like that. |
Beating Wisconsin shows that they're a good team and can beat anyone, and that's the way it is in college hockey these days. You have to respect any team you play and I think we do. |
Both sides, I think, have their positives and negatives. Do I want to be in the pros? Yes. Do I want to be here? Yes. Do I think I'm ready? Another year couldn't hurt, but maybe I'm ready, I don't know. It can go both ways. |
Every line was going, our defense were making passes, making good plays in our zone. It just seemed like everything was just flowing. |
He's one of our top leaders and for him to come through was big for us. We count on him and rely on him to do what he did today. |
He's so fast. He gets that puck, and he just flies with it. |
Hopefully, it means better things to come and we'll get more people in the crowd. I'd love it if Salem would come out and watch our games. |
I don't know how they're (New Hampshire) doing this year. I really haven't followed them, but they made it this far, so they must be a good team. |
I don't know, we'll have to see. Daniel's (Ramsey) riding well and we have some other good riders … I'm not as consistent — I know that. But beyond that, I don't really know. I haven't been tested on any real climbs. I'm as much of a question mark as anyone out here. |
I had ridden with them for seven or eight years and I decided it was time for a change. |
I never doubted it. It was a goal we set at the beginning of the year. Our loss on Friday didn't get us down. |
I saw Booth wind up to shoot it, I just tried to get in position for a tip. I didn't even know it went in until I heard the crowd cheer. |
I told them it's only one stroke a guy. Think of it that way. If you're lucky enough to be paired with a guy from New Trier, then see if you can beat him. Other than that, know every stroke counts. |
I'm looking forward it. It'll be a nice little break. |
It helps a lot and feels great having him as the coach. If he sees an error in your swing, he can fix it right away. That's really the good part about it. He's been in these situations before as a coach at Austin Peay. He knows what to do and that's part of the reason we're having so much success. He's a great teacher. |
