Any team that beats you the year before, you want to go out there and play for revenge...we've got to be mentally prepared,

Decks are one area of a house that seem to get overloaded. It seems like you have a big space, but if it's not attached to the home properly, there's the potential for it to come down.

 I just don't really think about that, ... I really don't.

I kind of saw it coming after the Wake Forest game. I knew a change had to be made, so I was kind of prepared for it.

I think I did a pretty good job. There's definitely room for improvement, but I feel I've come a long way since my first start. I'm just going to keep grinding and getting better.

I think it was just kind of a last-minute decision each and every week,

I'm going to help Marcus prepare and help him do his job. As for me, I'm going to continue to prepare as a starter, continue to watch tape and do all of the things I've done up to this point. My emotions are fine. Marcus and I have been competing for a long time. I feel fine and I just want to start winning.

It is building. It is like a rolling stone. The mass of it makes it hard to get the stone rolling. But once you get it rolling, it begins to gain speed. I think that is what we are looking at.

It kind of got sloppy after that. We lost our focus and we did some things that if we do in the future, it's going to hurt us.

It was little dinks and dinks and dinks, and then take the [deep] shots when you have them, ... If you watch Rich Gannon, he'd dink you to death. That forces everybody to come up [on defense]. When you start getting the safeties up, that's when you take a shot.

It's always tough coming back after a loss, trying to regroup and refocus. But I think we've done a real good job at it. We've moved on. We've put it behind us. We've focused on the penalties this week by focusing on technique. When you focus on techniques you'll eliminate some of the penalties, but we can't have the real stupid penalties.

It's kind of the offense as a whole that has improved their confidence, ... And it really started with the improvement of the offensive line. Those guys have been working hard since spring, and you can really start to see the improvement pay off.

Just because we needed a spark in the offense. We haven't necessarily had that spark that you need to get your offense moving, and hopefully Marcus will do that.

The formations force the defense to have to show more and do some things, which kind of give us an alert to say, 'Hey, this may not be there,' ... So you can get through your progression quicker.

They are a really fast team, and they gave us a lot of different looks. They move and shift around a lot, and that gave me a hard time picking up a read on their defense.
